Reason #942 why I love summer: Farmers Markets. And there's one in or around Atlanta open every day of the week! I like knowing where my food is coming from and that I'm supporting real, local people – it's a great feeling to sit down to a dinner and be able to tell your guests about the conversation you had with a vendor about how the produce you're eating was grown or what makes that pasta special. When I take my first bite, I smile not only because what I'm eating is totally fresh and delicious, but also because I'm recalling the smile on the face of the person I bought it from when they sold it to me.
